All Around Maui: Photos from our Kula house (Canon D60 vs. Sony DSC-T1). March 21, 2004

I took these photos of our rented Kula cottage about one month before we're planning to move out. Another purpose for this presentation is to compare two digital cameras. The photos in the left column are from the Canon D60, a digital SLR that I bought in March 2002. The photos in the right column are meant to be the same shot taken with our brand new Sony DSC-T1, a shirt-pocketable camera that we bought about one week ago.

The remainder of these shots were taken with one camera or the other, but not both, so they get their own section.

This is our "view." It's not great, but at least we can see a sliver of ocean.
