Nakalele Blowhole is right next to Nakalele Point, the northernmost point of Maui.

Here Tree is mad, or something, and is throwing sand at Monique's face.

Each eruption of the blowhole begins with a fine spray of mist that can go up quite high at times.

After the fine spray phase, the blowhole ejects a big "chunk" of water. It's kind of like a waterfall that flows the wrong way. In this photo, you can see the end of the spray phase, and the beginning of the "chunk" of water.

Another picture of the second, or "chunk," phase of the blowhole eruption.

Monique is looking toward where the setting sun is painting some nice light on the distant cliffs. Tree is wondering why we can't go in the ocean here (answer: because we would die), and waiting to go home.

Sunset drenched cliffs, with Pu`u Koae sticking 636 feet up above the sea, 3.4 miles away. East Maui (Haleakalā) is faintly visible in the far distance, in the left half of the photo.
